PWNA serves reservations with the highest needs in the U.S.

WHO WE ARE

Partnership With Native Americans is a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to championing hope for a brighter future for Native Americans living on remote, isolated and impoverished reservations. Collaborating with our reservation partners, we provide immediate relief and support long-term solutions for strong, self-sufficient Native American communities. Each year, more than one quarter of a million Native Americans of all ages benefit from PWNA services.

Our History: Evolving from a small startup in 1990 to a high-impact nonprofit with a clear mission, a dedicated team and committed donors who support our work, PWNA has a steady, solid history of service with Native Americans.

A BBB-accredited charity, PWNA maintains relationships with more than 1,000 reservation partners focused on leading positive change within their tribal communities. Our reservation partners provide input about reservation needs and goals, helping PWNA deliver the right services, goods and solutions to contribute to self-sufficiency and help end the cycle of poverty.

Our Motivation: We believe the people who live and work in the communities PWNA serves have the solutions to the problems that challenge their quality of life. PWNA’s role is to provide resources and support to these community-driven efforts toward lasting change.

Our Locations: We have program offices centrally located in Phoenix, Ariz., and Rapid City, S.D., to serve 60 reservations, our fundraising and donor office in Elkwood, Va., a telemarketing center in Manila, and an administrative office in Addison, Texas.

PWNA Funding
As a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, PWNA relies solely on monetary and in-kind donations to serve Native Americans with the highest need in the U.S. By incorporating high quality gift-in-kind donations and monetary gifts, PWNA assures a cost-effective response to our reservation partners’ needs. Through continuous service since 1990, PWNA has provided nearly $300 million in aid to the reservations and touched the lives of Native Americans millions of times.

Partnerships & Programming
PWNA’s reservation partners include grassroots community leaders, volunteers and community-based organizations working to assist tribal members. PWNA assists Native American communities with material aid, education services, professional and personal development and community investment projects to help end the cycle of poverty. PWNA also connects outside resources directly to reservations through our distribution network and partnerships.
